Learning Support Assistant

Full-time | Temporary (possibility of becoming permanent)
Are you a caring and motivated individual who’s passionate about helping children reach their potential? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school based in Andover to give 1-1 support to KS1 & KS2 students with additional needs.
Hourly rate: £13.75.
Vetting checks will be required prior to interview process.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
Working one-to-one and in small groups to provide tailored support
Helping to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Encouraging children to be confident, resilient learners with high expectations
Celebrating successes and helping children believe in themselves
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with primary aged children
Is committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing
Is a team player with excellent communication skills
Has experience with primary children in a school-based setting
Has a passion for education and the well-being of children
Is confident supporting 1-1 and in small groups
