Looking for a role where you can make a real difference and still have the flexibility to fit around your life? Come and join us as a Relief Support Worker! At CrossReach, we’ve been caring for people across Scotland for generations. Rooted in Christian values, we believe everyone deserves kindness, dignity, and a chance to live life to the full. That’s where you come in. What’s the job? You’ll step in when needed, working alongside a brilliant team to support our service users. It could be helping someone manage their day-to-day life, lending an ear when they need a chat, or just being a friendly face they can count on. No two shifts are the same and that's exactly what keeps it rewarding. A typical day might include: * Helping people with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or personal care. * Supporting service users to get out and about, meet new people, or pick up a hobby. * Keeping an eye on their wellbeing and helping them stay as independent as possible. * Pitching in with your team to keep the service running smoothly. What you’ll need: * An SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or a willingness to work towards your SVQ 3 with our support. * Basic computer skills enough to email, update notes, and maybe order a cheeky online shop! * A caring nature, a sense of humour, and a good dose of patience. * Respect for our Christian ethos and the people we support. It would be lovely (but not essential) if you also have: * Experience working in care. * Additional training like addictions support or counselling skills. Why work relief with us? Because flexibility is the name of the game. Pick up shifts that suit you. Work with fantastic teams. And best of all, make a real difference one shift at a time. Plus, we’ll support you with training, regular catch-ups, and plenty of encouragement along the way. Sound good? If you’ve got the heart to care, we’ve got the opportunity for you. Apply now and start making a difference, your way.
