Role: Section Manager
Location: Lincolnshire (South Holland)
Hourly Rate: GBP20.04 (40.25 hours + overtime, GBP42k per year + overtime)
Shift: 4 on, 4 off (06 00)
Our client is an SME Food Manufacturer in South Holland, Lincolnshire, and they re experiencing a period of sustained growth, with continued investment in their facilities and people. As a result, we re looking to add a Section Manager to the high-care, cold-fill area.
The Role:
This Section Manager role is focussed on managing people, the factory and looking to develop the teams capabilities and efficiencies. Working day to day within the factory environment, this is not an office-based role! Section Managers are accountable for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of our people and other resources within each business unit.
Leading, engaging, and developing people is a fundamental part of the role. Passionate about food, leading your areas within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. Taking full accountability for ensuring people safety, food safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. Working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, driving a culture of Continuous Improvement, developing, and implementing the Manufacturing Strategy for the business.
The Person:
* Previous highcare Food Manufacturing experience is essential for this role.
* Strong leadership skills, focussed on professional development for themselves and their team.
* Already working at a Section / Area Manager level, and wanting to develop to the next level in the short/mediumterm.
