A leading UK business is creating a new Senior Pricing Insight Analyst position as part of a wider ERP and commercial transformation. This is a hands-on role, working across Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and IT to build structured pricing capability in a business selling through multiple channels and product lines.
The Role
Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies that maximise profitability while staying competitive.
Introduce tactical and dynamic pricing levers, including long-tail/slow-mover optimisation, supplier benchmarking, and competitor insights.
Link cost drivers such as FX, transport, rebates, and commodities into pricing decisions.
Analyse large datasets to identify price elasticity, market trends, and demand forecasts.
Run “what-if” scenario planning to show the impact of cost and pricing changes.
Support the ERP transformation by helping design more agile and automated pricing mechanisms.
Produce clear reporting and recommendations for commercial leaders.
Act as a proactive business partner across functions, embedding pricing discipline where this has previously been ad-hoc.
