Role Overview The school is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee the management, analysis and reporting of student data across the school. This is a critical role that supports senior leadership by providing accurate information to inform decision-making and monitor student progress. The successful candidate will manage the school’s data systems, ensure compliance with data regulations and help develop efficient reporting processes. Key Responsibilities • Managing and maintaining the school’s management information systems • Producing accurate reports on student progress, attainment and attendance • Supporting senior leadership with data analysis for school improvement planning • Coordinating assessment data collection across departments • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across school systems • Developing efficient processes for data reporting and analysis • Supporting staff in using data systems effectively • Managing census returns and statutory data submissions • Ensuring compliance with data protection and GDPR regulations • Maintaining secure data storage and record management • Supporting examination data processes in collaboration with the exams team The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of data systems. They will be highly organised and able to communicate complex information clearly to staff across the school. Accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail will be essential qualities for this role.
