Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and continually improving product and process quality within our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will support inspection, analysis, and reporting activities to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. You will be involved in root cause analysis, audit support, and driving corrective actions through data-driven quality tools.

Working Hours
The employee's normal working hours are 38.75 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 with a 45-minute lunch, and Fridays 08:00-14:00 with a 15-minute lunch.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct product inspections in accordance with AQL standards.
* Support internal audits to recognised standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
* Assist in the identification and resolution of non-conformances.
* Analyse quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
* Maintain accurate quality records and generate detailed reports.
* Interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams including production and engineering.
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement activities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Lean Six Sigma certification – Yellow Belt or above.
* Internal Auditor training – to a recognised industry standard.
* Solid understanding of quality control principles, tools, and processes.
* Working knowledge of AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) inspections.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to use data analysis tools to support decision making.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
* Competent in MS Office and familiar with basic MRP systems.
* Prior experience in quality-related roles, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
