Overview
St Mary’s Catholic High School, Manchester Road, Astley, Tyldesley, Manchester, M29 7EE. Salary: Grade 5, £24,148 - £26,593 per annum. £13.90 - £15.31 per hour. 37 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks working 41 weeks per year.
Required for as soon as possible. The Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Finance & Administration Support Officer to deliver a professional, effective and comprehensive support service in school. The role includes processing financial transactions (purchase orders and invoices), ensuring compliance with financial regulations and management guidelines, and monitoring all school budget cost centres. The successful candidate will also assist the busy school office with administration duties including answering telephone calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries from students and visitors.
Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of working in an office environment and undertaking clerical tasks.
* Experience with ICT systems (e.g., Word & Excel).
* Experience of working in a school office and using Bromcom MIS and Finance systems would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Person Specification
* Welcoming, personable and able to represent the school professionally and friendly.
* Ability to work flexibly within a busy team, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
Terms and Conditions
Hours: 37 per week, term time plus 3 weeks (41 weeks per year).
