We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at Oneline. The role involves managing and supporting operational staff, plant, and customers to ensure the successful completion of all operational aspects. Working with the Head of Operations, you will plan and execute work and allocate workforce efficiently to support service delivery and business operations.
More About The Role
* Responsible for the operational delivery of the Tanker Services department and related deliveries.
* Prepare quotations, organize work, and price jobs for invoicing.
* Ensure all equipment is in suitable condition and available on vehicles; hire additional equipment as needed.
* Allocate jobs and assign trained staff to ensure safety and quality standards; prepare paperwork and job packs for the next day.
* Conduct health and safety inductions for new starters and ensure completion of checklists.
* Set probation targets for new employees under your supervision.
* Perform site visits to ensure RAMS are completed; review and update method statements and risk assessments regularly. You hold overall responsibility for health and safety.
About You
* Operational experience, including staff resourcing, equipment, and vehicle fleet management.
* Experience within the water industry or similar environment is essential.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices, implementing safe systems of work, and managing staff wellbeing.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
* Desirable: experience with confined spaces, Street Works, CDM regulations.
* Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
