The Opportunity
We're looking for several talented FPGA Design Engineers to join our client, developing cutting-edge technology across a broad range of applications. Projects span from advanced signal processing systems (Image/Radio), through to core embedded processing platforms and safety/security-critical systems!
In this role, you'll be involved in all phases of the FPGA design lifecycle - from requirements capture through to final validated design. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, work with the latest technologies from top FPGA vendors, and collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering domains.
What You'll Be Doing
* Designing and implementing complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink, and related tools
* Targeting devices from leading vendors including Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi
* Developing verification environments and testbenches using VHDL, SystemVerilog, and UVM methodologies
* Utilizing industry-standard toolsets such as QuestaSim and ModelSim
* Writing and integrating low-level software in C to support FPGA testing and embedded system integration
* Producing high-quality design documentation and ensuring designs meet stringent engineering standards
* Collaborating with hardware, software, and systems teams throughout the development process
What We're Looking For
* A degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in FPGA design and development, ideally across the full development lifecycle
* Strong knowledge of HDL languages (VHDL/SystemVerilog) and design methodologies
* Familiarity with FPGA verification frameworks and tools
* Experience writing embedded C for system bring-up and integration
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
Why Join our client?
* Work on innovative and meaningful projects with real-world impact
* Access the latest FPGA technologies and tools
* Be part of a supportive, growing team of experts and specialists
* Opportunities for career development, training, and technical leadership
