Data Strategist – CRM & Lifecycle (Part-Time, Temp Contract)
Contract: Temporary (3 months, with option to extend)
Hours: Part-time (2–3 days per week)
About the Role
We're looking for a Data Strategist focused on CRM and lifecycle foundations to help us understand and improve our existing email and CRM workflows.
We already have workflows in place, but we lack clear visibility into what's working, what's not, and what "good" looks like. Data currently lives across multiple tools and needs consolidation.
This is a hands-on, practical role focused on auditing, simplifying, and creating clarity — not design, copywriting, or advanced data science.
What You'll Do
* Audit existing CRM and email workflows
* Review and map current data sources and events
* Define simple success metrics and lifecycle stages
* Simplify or remove low-value workflows
* Create basic, reliable reporting
* Document findings and recommendations
What This Role Is Not
* Email design or copywriting
* Newsletter or campaign execution
* Paid media or growth marketing
* Advanced machine learning
What We're Looking For
* 4–6 years experience in CRM, lifecycle, or marketing automation
* Hands-on experience with tools like Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign,, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
* Comfortable working with messy or incomplete data
* Pragmatic, clear communicator
Education: Bachelor's required; MSc or PhD welcome with applied industry experience.
