Job Title: General Manager Level: 3A Salary: £32,500 to £36,500 per annum Location: West End Centre, Aldershot Hours: 37 hours per week Type of Contract: Permanent Job Description: General Manager, West End Centre Do you have the leadership skills to inspire teams and deliver outstanding visitor experiences at Aldershot’s vibrant arts and culture hub? You’ll lead the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences and operational excellence, motivating high performing teams to achieve ambitious KPI’s. Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments, including central teams, to drive commercial performance including box office revenue, bar spend, venue hire and community programme workshops and courses as well as ensuring high visitor experience and strong operational standards. A bit about you You’ll bring significant experience managing a public venue in customer-facing operations, with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence in terms of visitor experience, as well as Health and Safety and Compliance. You will have strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and driving commercial performance, and you’ll be an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills. An interest in the arts and cultural sector is highly desirable.
