Reporting to Rebate Manager responsibilitiesinclude assisting with managing the customer incentive process andPricing. Position will have a high level of interaction with thesales organization.
MainResponsibilities and Accountabilities
* Perform month end close activities which include thepreparation of journal entries financial analysis reclassificationsallocations and corrections
* Prepare monthlyaccount reconciliations rebate accruals identify/resolvediscrepancies and report financial misstatements in accordance withour accounting policies (GAAP) and SOX controls
* Processing of Retail customer rebatedeductions
* Processing of builder rebatesprogram
* Processing and tracking of customerrebates and reports
* Calculation and payment ofmonthly external sales commissions
* Coordinatewith Accounts Receivable team for tracking deductions
* Analyzing complex rebate data assisting supervisor withcustomer and product profitability analysis as well as analyzinggrowth tiers for new agreements
* Training andoperations documentation
* Assist in maintenanceof customer rebate program data
* Assist incalculation and payment of quarterly and annual rebates includinginteraction and liaison with the Treasury Accounts Payable andAccounts Receivable teams
* Assist withaudits
* Ad hoc analysis as required by uppermanagement
* Other rebate or pricingrelatedresponsibilities/duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and ExperienceRequirements
* Bachelors degree inAccounting required
* 1 to 3 years ofbusiness/finance related experience
* Basicknowledge of accounting standards and principles
* Experience with SOX Controls a plus
* Should demonstrate advanced capability with MicrosoftExcel
* Strong quantitative analyticalproblemsolving skills
* Ability to interact withall levels of management in various departments throughout thecompany
* Must be a selfstarter flexible andable to work on timesensitive projects without dailysupervision
* Willingness to take on and assistwith new and varied projects as they arise
