At Greenways Primary Academy, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Learning Support Practitioner to join our welcoming and supportive team for 31.25 hours a week (8.45am-3.30pm including a 30 minute lunch break) Monday to Friday, term time only, from 1st September 2026. The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and experienced in supporting young children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is crucial in helping children actively engage in learning activities, develop essential skills, and build social connections within a supportive and structured environment. The Learning Support Practitioner’s (LSP) main role is to provide support for a pupil or pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan. The LSP will ensure that the pupil/s can integrate as fully as possible in our Year 2 class and take part in the activities undertaken by the other children and make progress. You will need to have high expectations of the pupil/s that you work with and yourself, with a determined approach to ensuring every child can succeed. You will join a staff team who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional.
