Birmingham City Council is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director to lead our Housing Solutions & Rough Sleeping Services. This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering services that prevent homelessness, provide effective housing solutions and drive forward the city's response to rough sleeping.
You’ll lead large, complex services through a period of transformation, ensuring statutory responsibilities are delivered effectively while driving innovation, partnership working and continuous improvement across the housing system.
As Assistant Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across housing solutions, homelessness prevention and rough sleeping services, ensuring services are resident-focused, outcome-driven and aligned to the Council's wider housing ambitions.
