Quantity Surveyor London Projects £60,000 – £70,000 Car Allowance Benefits The Opportunity We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing £66m business unit within a well-established national contractor, delivering recladding, refurbishment and decarbonisation schemes across the South. This is a position for a strong performing Quantity Surveyor and offers the chance to step into a structured commercial team with genuine autonomy and clear progression routes. Projects typically range from £1m–£10m, with larger flagship schemes up to £80m across social housing and residential frameworks. The Role Take full commercial responsibility for your own projects Manage £5m–£10m schemes independently Oversee cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts Work closely with Contracts Managers and operational teams Contribute to commercial reporting and risk management Support framework delivery under JCT and PPC contracts This is a hands-on role - you will be expected to run your own jobs confidently and commercially. What We’re Looking For 3–5 years’ experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level Experience running projects independently Background in social housing, refurbishment, property services or recladding preferred Strong commercial grounding and understanding of JCT contracts Comfortable managing £5m packages Team-oriented, professional and steady approach Degree-qualified is welcomed but not essential - experience and capability are prioritised.
