Voice and Influence Worker (Youth Work)

About the Role
We are seeking a Voice and Influence Worker to join a specialist team dedicated to ensuring children and young people's voices (0-18, or 21 if a care leaver or SEND) are valued, heard, and acted upon.
You will:
* Work directly with children and young people, both one-to-one and in groups.
* Facilitate creative and engaging opportunities for them to express their views, wishes, and feelings.
* Represent and champion their voices at meetings, forums, and campaigns locally, regionally, and nationally.
* Support key groups including the Child in Care Council, Care Leavers Group, Young Inspectors, and Youth Cabinet.
* Collaborate with professionals and partner agencies to ensure young people's voices influence service delivery and improvement.
* Contribute to advocacy services, consultation events, and the recruitment of Independent Visitors.

About You
We are looking for someone with:
* A passion for working with children and young people.
* Experience of communicating with, empowering, and advocating for young people.
* The confidence to plan, facilitate, and risk assess group activities.
* Strong partnership working skills across a range of agencies and sectors.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present young people's voices in creative ways.
A minimum Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ, BTEC, A Levels) or equivalent experience is required. A driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
