Job Overview
We invite applications for a full-time (1.0 WTE) Consultant Radiologist with an interest in General Radiology reporting. The role is based at the RBH site but may include sessions at Poole Hospital. The post involves general inpatient CT and emergency MRI reporting, outpatient US, CT, and MRI reporting, and potentially US and CT guided procedures. There is also a requirement for plain film reporting and support for plain film reporting radiographers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* FRCR or equivalent
* Full GMC registration and license to practice
* Entry on the GMS specialist register via CCST, CESR, or European Community; pre-CCST candidates considered if eligible for interview 6 months prior to CCST
Experience
* Broad experience in acute Radiology
* Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge of NHS plans and service development
* Management training experience
Skills, Knowledge, and Aptitude
* Willingness to fulfill key responsibilities
* Knowledge of clinical audit principles and involvement in audits
* Experience in training junior doctors
Note: Staff may be required to work flexibly across all Trust locations. COVID-19 vaccination is encouraged but not mandatory. Internal candidates will be appointed to UHD terms and conditions.

Appropriate UK professional registration is required. The role is subject to DBS checks and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) 2020.
