Summary:

We're seeking a focused and reliableStorepersonto manage all stock operations and ensure smooth, accurate inventory flow.

Reporting to theWaterlink Finance Lead, you will take full responsibility for our stock management process. This involves efficientlyreceiving, accurately recording, securely storing, and dispatchingall items.

A keen focus oninventory accuracy, reliableorder fulfilment, and maintaining asafe and organised workspaceis essential for success in this role.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on business need and performance.

Main Responsibilities:
Manage the complete lifecycle of goods, including receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording all deliveries in the designated inventory management system.
Maintain precise stock levels through regular counts and audits, generating timely reports and early alerts on strategic items.
Implement stock rotation methods to minimise waste and ensure products are used in the correct order.
Identify and report any discrepancies, damages or quality issues with stock.
Ensure all items, tools, and materials are stored safely and in compliance with all Health and Safety requirements including COSHH.
Liaise with field teams and collaborate with stock suppliers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
Marshal vehicles and organise the yard to optimise space and safety.
Oversee waste management, ensuring materials are correctly disposed of and recycled.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and orderly warehouse and yard in compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards.
Monitor yard security, including gates and lighting and promptly report any issues.
Communicate effectively with external parties and internal team members, supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Promote health, safety and environmental standards in line with company policy and legislation.
Resolve unforeseen problems as they arise and use the learning to prevent future issues.
Provide flexible support to all teams, including assisting with office and field functions when required (e.g., during holidays, sickness, or training), ensuring operational continuity.You'll need:

Skills/Qualification/Experience
Proficiency in inventory software and attention to detail to ensure detail for accurate stock management and record keeping.
Data entry and analysis skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
Numerical accuracy for tasks like stock counting, order picking, auditing and reconciling inventory.
Clear written and verbal communication to liaise with stakeholders, including; drivers, suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to accurately interpret and complete delivery notes, pick lists, and safety documentation.
Strong adherence to health and safety protocols, including manual handling and forklift operation procedures.
Ability to identify and report hazards using ANMEL to ensure a safe working environment.
Excellent prioritisation and multitasking abilities to manage competing deadlines.
Effectively managed the complete lifecycle of goods, from receiving and sorting to dispatching.
Championed health and safety standards in line with all relevant legislation and actively promoted a safe working environment by adhering to and enforcing safety protocols.
Collaborated closely with suppliers to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries and successfully managed supplier relationships to maximise delivery schedules and resolve issues.
Demonstrable experience of using inventory management systems to efficiently track stock levels, stock rotation, conduct audits and generate reports.It will be a bonus if you have:

Compensation package:

Up to £28,000 p.a. (Dependent on experience)
