If so, the following permanent role could be for you. My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Newcastle under Lyme area. They are looking for a Co-Ordinator to join them ASAP on a permanent basis. The Manufacturing Co-Ordinator will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient use of resources and timely fulfilment of customer orders. The role includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analysing trends, and identifying areas for operational improvement. The Manufacturing Co-Ordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to support planning accuracy, production flow, and service levels. Inclusive of any reasonable requests from your Line Manager. You will be responsible for: * Planning and scheduling new sales orders into the production system to optimise resource utilisation and on-time delivery. * Monitoring production KPIs (e.g., On-Time In-Full, schedule adherence, efficiency, downtime). * Analysing KPI trends to identify and suggest process improvements in production workflows. * Assisting in forecasting and capacity planning based on sales pipeline and operational constraints. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date production records, schedules, and reports. * Collaborating with production, operations, and sales teams to align manufacturing output with customer requirements. * Supporting issue resolution during production by coordinating across relevant departments. * Managing and continuously improving production planning tools and reporting dashboards. * Help track production-related costs and suggest cost-saving opportunities. * Demonstrating leadership by consistently upholding and modelling the highest standards of safety, quality and workplace behaviour, setting a positive example for others to follow * Undertaking any other reasonable duties or tasks as requested by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support operational needs and business objectives * Demonstrating leadership by consistently upholding and modelling the highest standards of safety, quality and workplace behaviour, setting a positive example for others to follow * Undertaking any other reasonable duties or tasks as requested by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support operational needs and business objectives You will have: Minimum 5 years of experience in production or planning administration.
