Senior Design Engineer
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in North London. This well-respected tier 1 main contractor brings local solutions across a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects as part of long-term frameworks and to develop improvements to highway network and enhance rail infrastructure.
About the role for a Senior Design Engineer
A Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, management and implementation of drainage and SuDS solutions to mitigate flood risk and enhance environmental quality in urban development of projects. Delivering on programme, and within budget, to the highest standards of safety quality.
Responsibilities for a Senior Design Engineer
* Lead the design, implementation, and management if Drainage Systems for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with local, national and environmental regulations.
* Prepare detailed designs, flood assessment, technical reports, specifications and calculations for drainage systems in line with relevant industry standards and guidelines.
* Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, supporting their professional development
Requirements for a Senior Design Engineer
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineer, or related discipline.
* Chartered Engineering status or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
* Strong understanding of drainage modelling and analysis tool.
