Mechanical / Electronics Engineering Lecturer (x2)
Pembrokeshire College has an exciting opportunity for two Mechanical/Electronics Lecturers to join our highly successful and forward‑thinking Engineering team, where innovation, collaboration, and real‑world experience shape the engineers of tomorrow.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver full‑time teaching (37 hours per week, 835 annual teaching hours).
* Develop and deliver course material across a range of levels and disciplines.
* Support student learning and progress throughout their studies.
* Contribute to the development of the engineering curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners.
Qualifications
* Qualified or working towards a Level 4 in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
* PGCE required if not already obtained; it will be funded by the college.
* Supported in gaining TAQA Level 3 and IQA Level 4 during employment.
* Relevant industrial experience, with a genuine passion for inspiring engineering students.
* Industry experience essential; understanding of renewable energy technologies highly advantageous.
Benefits
* Salary: Scale MG1‑UP1 (£32,304 – £46,431 per annum) with potential progression to UP2‑UP3 (£48,153 – £49,934 per annum).
* Full permanent salaried contract.
* Full time – 37 hours per week (835 annual teaching hours).
