We’re excited to be partnering with a leading Retail Group to appoint a Head of Financial Planning, a high-impact leadership role at the heart of the finance function.This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader to shape and drive a unified, forward-looking financial planning strategy across a complex, fast-paced organisation.Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will lead the delivery of the Group’s 5-year plan, annual budget, and in-year forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing clear insight to senior stakeholders.You’ll play a key role in:Driving a joined-up, cross-functional planning approach across P&L, cash, and performance metricsProviding forward-looking insight, challenge, and analysis to executive leadershipLeading planning transformation, improving processes, systems, and forecasting accuracyEmbedding a culture of continuous improvement and commercial curiositySupporting Board-level decision-making through high-quality analysis and storytellingKey Requirements:Qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in FP&A leadershipProven track record of leading planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesStrong stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at Board levelCommercially astute, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insightA natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environmentsPassionate about driving performance, improving processes, and developing teams
