Certas Energy UK is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager to take the reins of our marketing strategy across our Company Owned and Dealer Owned Retail estate.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of mobility by delivering world-class marketing campaigns that put the customer first and deliver measurable business growth.
You will be an accomplished Senior Marketing Manager looking for your next step up, initially a stand-alone role for this business area, with future prospect to develop a team.
Your Role:
As the Senior Marketing Manager you’ll drive the marketing function for our Retail divisionworking closely with the Mobility Marketing Director, Loyalty & CRM teams, and our regional stakeholders to implement a future-focused, data-driven marketing strategy.
You will:
* Develop and execute the Retail marketing strategy for Certas Energy UK
* Deliver integrated marketing plans that grow market share, enhance profitability and elevate customer experience
* Partner with the Loyalty & CRM Manager on data-led loyalty strategies and targeted campaigns
* Lead new product and service launches across our retail portfolio
* Translate customer and industry insights into compelling initiatives that support business goals
* Be the voice of the customer and drive innovation in digital and traditional marketing efforts
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
* Own and execute a robust retail marketing strategy
* Champion customer experience across all touchpoints
* Deliver compelling business cases for marketing investment
* Lead the development of customer value propositions and tactical sales campaigns
* Align campaign delivery with CRM & loyalty initiatives to drive retention and growth
* Translate retail trends and insights into actionable marketing plans
* Track KPIs, monitor ROI, and drive continuous improvement
* Manage the retail marketing budget effectively
* Align all activities with business KPIs and priorities
* Report on ROI and contribute to incremental profit growth
Customer Focus:
* Ensure a world-class customer experience at every level
* Work collaboratively with dealers, partners, and internal teams to align on customer needs
* Support segmentation strategies through insight and analytics
* Work cross-functionally with CRM, Loyalty, Sales, BI, and Regional teams
* Foster a team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and shared success
* Champion personal development and internal communication of the company’s core values
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibility:
* Promote a positive safety culture in line with company policies
* Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols on-site and during travel
What You’ll Need:
* Postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or a business-related field
* Extensive experience in marketing and management roles
* Demonstrable experience in the energy, liquid fuels, or renewables sector (highly desirable)
* Strong commercial acumen with experience leading marketing for a national or regional business
* Proven track record of building and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
* Expertise in stakeholder management and matrix working environments
* Highly numerate, budget-savvy, and results-focused
* Confident communicator and senior-level presenter
* Self-motivated, strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills
