Overview
Audio Typist role at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Based at Scarborough Teaching Hospital, 37.5 hours per week within the Head & Neck department. The post holder will be an audio typist for predominantly ENT and may assist with typing and letters for other specialties within the Head and Neck directorate if required. The post holder will type letters for clinical staff, handle medical secretary printing, and deliver patient results letters to the post room. The role will include typing for primarily Junior Doctors and assisting Medical Secretaries with the wider clinical team.
You will be required to have good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise the demands of a busy office and manage your time and workload effectively. You will also be required to work unsupervised and communicate with the medical secretary team on a regular basis. Excellent administration and audio-typing experience/qualifications are required, as well as a good understanding of general office duties. Responsibilities
