Our client, a recognised leader in its field, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join its successful and expanding team. The ideal candidate will hold a science degree (2:1 or above) and have at least two years' experience in a similar sales role. In this position, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and engaging potential customers, as well as driving growth within the existing client base through effective cross-selling of complimentary products.
About the role:
Working as part of an established and supportive team, the role will be predominantly telephone-based, with occasional face-to-face meetings and attendance at industry events and tradeshows.
Salary - £40k - £50k dependent on experience. OTE £110k plus benefits
Fully office-based in Bourne End
Key requirements:
1. Minimum 2:1 degree in a science subject
2. Previous experience selling into medical or healthcare sectors
3. At least 2 years' experience in a technical sales role, with the ability to discuss demonstrable successes
4. Excellent verbal and written English language skills
5. GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths at Grade C or above, as the role requires strong numerical skills. A short numeracy assessment is required as part of the interview process
6. Strong skills in MS Word & Excel
7. Full driving license
