What You’ll Do

1. Liaise with the EWFM Helpdesk ensuring that all EWFM and client reporting systems are implemented
2. Act as EW Health and Safety Representative carrying out routine health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
3. Contribute as part of the client operational team to the development of the premises ethos and culture.
4. Support the client core activities.
5. Responsible for carrying out the following regular checks and activities:-
6. Carry out statutory maintenance checks to plant and equipment
7. Check site maintenance work orders and action as appropriate by first hand repair or by liaison with the EWFM Help desk for further remedial action.
8. Check for internal and external building fabric damage and action as appropriate by first hand repair or by liaison with the EWFM Help desk for further remedial action.
9. Ensure all public access areas including car parks are unobstructed and free from litter and major debris.
10. Assist in providing a high quality planned and reactive portering service
11. Assist in providing a reactive cleaning service when requested

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

The working hours per week are 37.5 Monday – Friday on rotation (Shift 1 - 9am to 5pm ) / (Shift 2 - 1pm to 8 pm ) with a 30 minute unpaid break, there will also be an opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday and sickness absence.

17. Able to lone work (inline with the Policy)
18. Any other duties as commensurate within the grade in order to ensure the smooth running of the school
