Youll also be hands-on with our 12-week vehicle maintenance schedule, helping us stay compliant, roadworthy, and ready to go. Youll be at the heart of our operation working closely with the warehouse team to make sure deliveries and recoveries are well coordinated and dont impact service levels. Youll handle queries from drivers, customers, and sales reps, keeping communication clear and service running smoothly. Alongside this, youll help ensure compliance with our Operators Licence, keep vehicle records up to date, and make sure everything from insurance to tax and PSV checks is in order. If you enjoy the buzz of logistics, thrive on planning and teamwork, and like solving problems before they happen wed love to hear from you. Skills for Success Essential for the role: Previous experience within a FMCG environment (preferably at least 12 months). Previous admin experience. Competent in use of Microsoft Office programmes-particularly Excel. A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent) Previous experience in a busy transport planning role is not essential but you must be able to demonstrate an aptitude to learn new processes. The Attributes youll need include: Operational & strategic thinking Adaptable with keen problem-solving abilities Strong organisational skills Customer service skills Communication & team collaboration Attention to detail Able to work within deadlines and effectively prioritise workload. It is desirable if you have: Relevant qualification relating to logistics/transport. Understanding of transport planning systems. At least one years experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Hours of work are likely to be 11am-7pm, however, flexibility is required with regards to hours of work.
