Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Overview
A leading engineering organisation delivering precision installations across data centres and advanced manufacturing environments is seeking a CAD / CAM Designer to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce 2D/3D CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings
• Generate CAM outputs for CNC and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate, buildable designs
• Apply design for manufacture and assembly (DFM/DFA) principles
Requirements:
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor)
• Exposure to CAM tools (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, assembly)
• Data centre experience desirable; manufacturing/engineering backgrounds also considered
