We’re looking for a Senior People Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving the People Plan for our Insurance Teams. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders bringing commercial insight, strong HR expertise and clear strategic direction to help us build a high‑performing, well‑led and customer‑focused organisation. You’ll work across a sophisticated, matrixed environment including UK Insurance, Bupa Global and multiple People Centres of Expertise, ensuring our people priorities land effectively and deliver real impact.
What You’ll Do
1. Leading the design and delivery of the People Plan across Insurance and Functions, aligned to Bupa’s wider people strategy.
2. Acting as a key advisor to senior leaders shaping thinking, influencing decision‑making and driving strong leadership capability.
3. Guiding organisational design and workforce planning to ensure we have the right people, skills and structure for the future.
4. Playing a lead role in major change programmes and transformation initiatives.
5. Embedding people risk, conduct and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant, well‑governed and sustainable operations.
6. Driving culture, engagement, wellbeing and talent outcomes to support performance and colleague experience.
What We’re Looking For
7. HR professional with strong, broad expertise across the full HR lifecycle.
8. Experience of partnering senior leaders in large, complex and ideally regulated environments bringing credible challenge and strong judgement.
9. A proven record of leading cultural, behavioural and organisational change projects, including OD and workforce planning
10. Confident operating within matrix structures
11. Strong stakeholder management, commercial insight and the ability to deliver clear, measurable outcomes
