Role Overview:
Client based in Portland is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join thier team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.This opportunity is office-based.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs.
* Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close sales to maximize revenue.
* Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
* Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
What We are Looking For :
* Minimum Experience: 2 years’ experience in business development or sales, within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
* Preferred Experience: Proven BDM experience, including handling B2B sales, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
* Industry Knowledge: Candidate is expected to have experience in selling MSP’s and IT solutions to SMEs or enterprise clients.
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong organizational abilities; CRM proficiency, must be motivated and must be a self -starter
* Other Requirements: Full UK driving license (for client visits as required)
