We are looking for dedicated and compassionate staff to join our workforce at Swanwick Lodge, a secure children’s home in the heart of Hampshire. Swanwick Lodge accommodates up to ten young people aged 11-17 who have been placed for their own safety and wellbeing. To provide support to the facilities manager and team and assist in the smooth running of Swanwick Lodge in managing a clean and healthy environment, to be responsible for ensuring adequate stocks of consumables are maintained to meet service requirements and all equipment within Swanwick Lodge is clean and in good working order reporting any faults. You will be responsible for completing daily, weekly, monthly, and six-monthly cleaning checklists as well as a robust preventative planned maintenance programme. Maintain first aid boxes, accompany operatives and contractors on site and certifying that the work has been completed to a good standard. Supporting our care team by ensuring that all the bed linen has been replaced, sleep over rooms cleaned and are ready for them to get a good night’s sleep. You will line manage the two domestic assistants, provide support and training to them, you will be responsible for their monthly supervision and putting them forward for further training. No professional qualifications are required; just bringing along with you passion and dedication and we will provide you with the necessary training and support required for the role, as well as opportunities to develop both personal and professional skills.
