Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge is looking for a leader who will look after the team and develop them to deliver celebrity service. In this role you’re a real organiser who loves leading and motivating your team. You will drive the brand strategy across all elements of the business, setting Hotel du Vin apart as a preferred employer and destination to stay, eat and drink.
Situated in Clifton Village, Hotel du Vin Bristol Avon Gorge is a 4‑star boutique hotel offering an unrivalled experience. With 78 bedrooms, exceptional location, unparalleled amenities, and playful spirit, we’re the perfect base for any Bristol adventure. This popular location has a strong focus on food & beverage, so we seek someone with prior experience managing a similar‑sized hotel and operation. You will know the local market, understand how to maximise revenue, manage detail through department managers and team, and lead from the front.
Responsibilities
• Drive brand strategy across the business and differentiate Hotel du Vin from competitors.
• Lead, motivate and develop teams, ensuring exceptional service and employee engagement.
• Maximise revenue by analysing market trends, setting targets, and overseeing departmental performance.
• Maintain operational excellence and high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications
• Previous experience managing and motivating teams in a hospitality business that experiences busy seasonal peaks.
• Sound knowledge of food and drink in a similar sized property.
• Strong people‑management and business‑planning skills.
