The School and Role
ABC Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Harborne from September 2025. Role:
Long-term supply role starting September 2025
Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
Full-time position covering the full teaching responsibilities
Pay scale: M1 – M6 (£30,000 – £46,525 per annum, dependent on experience)
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students
Marking, assessment and contribution to department planning
Requirements
The successful Food Technology Teacher will have;
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Specialism in Food Technology (or a related subject)
Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
A genuine passion for inspiring young learners
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
