Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer/Roofer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the roofing works and installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Install solar panels and associated equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
* Roofing works to be high standard, as all jobs will be audited to show high standards throughout.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and accurately.
* Collaborate with electrical teams to ensure proper wiring and connections for solar systems.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or testing phases.
Skills
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to installation tasks.
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
* Electrical experience is highly desirable, particularly with solar energy systems.
