Job Description:
Part-time OR Full-Time Respiratory Practice Nurse Opportunity, Shropshire
The opportunity has arisen for Practice Nurses/Primary Care Specialist Nurses with an interest in respiratory conditions to join an independent, nationwide service. The employer is looking for a nurse to work either part-time or full-time, offering support, training, and funding to the right candidate.
This role is unique in that you'll provide support to surgeries and patients across a city-wide radius, rather than at a specific site, so you must be comfortable traveling (up to 1-2 hours per day). A full UK driving license is required as a company car will be provided or a car allowance depending on preference. The position also includes a remote-working component, estimated at 1-2 days per week based on full-time hours, involving virtual patient assessments and consultations.
Daily duties may include patient audits, delivering specialist clinics, and mentoring/general practice staff. In return, you will receive a comprehensive employment package with benefits including:
* Salary: £ - £44k per annum, depending on experience
* 10% Annual Bonus (based on KPIs)
* Private Pension
* Company car or monthly car allowance
* Paid lunches
* Mobile and Home Broadband packages
* Diary management
* CPD opportunities
* Reimbursement of RCN/NMC fees
* Sick Pay entitlement
* Company Events
Requirements:
Ideally, candidates will hold a further qualification in COPD/Asthma and have experience performing and interpreting Spirometry. If not qualified in these areas, a minimum of 3 years managing respiratory conditions and conducting long-term respiratory reviews within Primary Care is required. Support, training, and funding are available for gaining respiratory diplomas and ARTP Spirometry qualification.
