Senior Care Assistant (Nights)
Location: Rastrick Hall & Grange Close, Lea Avenue, Rastrick
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (38.5 hrs per week, including alternative weekends)
Salary: £13.75 per hour

Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents with all aspects of daily living.
* Support training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work under the supervision of senior staff.
* Assist residents in all care needs (physical, emotional, spiritual), providing supervision and attention to ensure comfort and dignity.
* Pay particular attention to residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making best use of aids.
* Closely monitor residents who may be confused or exhibit behavioural problems.
* Assist in the promotion of continence.
* Assist in the delivery of care for residents who are dying or with a progressive illness; assist with last offices.
* Complete, observe & review care planning needs and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with company policies.
* Assist in the framework of social activities by interacting with residents and helping them continue hobbies and activities in the home.
* Answer nurse call system, doors, telephone appropriately and pass on messages promptly.
* Report on the well‑being of residents and liaise with GPs, support managers, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
* Warm, approachable, and positive.
* Organised, reliable, and confident leading a team.
* Creative, enthusiastic, and capable of motivating others.
* Passionate about improving the lives of older people.
* Able to work flexibly across some evenings and weekends.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* NVQ Level 3 (or willing to work towards this).
