The Group currently consists of 4 property management brands that collectively manage over 90,000 properties, via 12 regional offices across England & Wales supported by in-house teams that manage Admin & Finance, HR, H&S, Marketing & Communications and Legal & Compliance. You'll be joining a well-established and growing group. More information can be found here:
About this role:
You will oversee the Group Learning & Development programme alongside the HR Manager, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality learning experience across all brands and offices. You will line‑manage the L&D Facilitator and take overall accountability for L&D across the business, covering both soft‑skills development and technical (hard‑skill) capability (e.g. property management operations, systems and compliance). You will use blended learning, including digital and AI‑enabled tools, to make learning accessible and scalable.
Some responsibilities and goals you'll own:
* Oversee and maintain the Group L&D programme, annual learning plan and governance (needs analysis, priorities, delivery plan and measures of impact).
* Line‑manage the L&D Facilitator, including objective‑setting, coaching, planning and quality assurance.
* Oversee the soft‑skills programme, working closely with the L&D Facilitator to ensure consistent quality, strong engagement and alignment to business priorities and values.
* Design, develop, and deliver technical (hard-skill) training across the property management function including core processes, systems and tools, compliance, and role-specific capabilities collaborating with subject-matter experts to ensure all content remains accurate, relevant, and practical.
* Design and deliver training that supports operational performance and service standards across the business.
* Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities, translating needs into clear learning solutions.
* Deliver learning through a blended approach (workshops, digital learning, guides and on‑the‑job support), using technology and AI‑enabled tools where appropriate to scale and improve learning access.
* Provide oversight of Property Management Traineeships and Apprenticeships, ensuring alignment to the wider L&D programme and visibility of progress/outcomes.
* Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, data and performance measures, and continuously improve content and approach.
* Keep learning content current by staying informed on industry trends, best practice and relevant regulatory updates.
* Create and promote learning pathways that support career development and progression.
* Foster a positive learning culture that encourages continuous development and high performance.
What we're looking for:
* Experience overseeing L&D programmes end-to-end (planning, delivery and evaluation); people management experience (or strong coaching/leadership capability) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in learning& development or training roles, preferably within property management or a similar customer‑focused environment.
* A solid understanding of residential property management operations and the challenges within the sector.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage a wide range of learners.
* Experience in designing training materials and utilising digital learning platforms or LMS systems.
* Strong ability to assess learning needs and measure impact.
* Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* A collaborative and inclusive approach, working effectively with stakeholders across the business.
Desirable:
* Experience creating or implementing AI‑enabled learning tools or digital knowledge platforms.
* Experience within the property sector.
