NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading construction equipment dealer who are looking to recruit a Parts Manager to oversee operations at their busy Glasgow depot. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business representing some of the industry’s most recognised plant and machinery brands.
You’ll be responsible for managing the parts department, driving sales performance, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring exceptional support to both internal teams and external customers across the construction, plant hire, and civil engineering sectors throughout Scotland.
The Role
* Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Source, price, and supply parts for a range of construction plant and heavy machinery.
* Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, and supplier relationships.
* Support field service engineers and workshop teams with accurate parts identification.
* Drive parts sales performance and profitability through effective management and customer service.
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor within the construction plant, or agricultural sectors.
* Strong product knowledge of OEM equipment such as JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Volvo (advantageous).
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Commercially aware with a focus on customer satisfaction and department performance.
* Proficient in using stock management and parts ordering systems.
* Based in or commutable to Glasgow, with a full UK driving licence.
