The Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer within the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance/Production Engineer to join their site in Shefford. Reporting to the Technical Director, youll maintain and repair production machinery, support general building maintenance, manage spare parts, and respond to breakdowns. Youll also produce detailed reports and assist with routine equipment testing.
What Youll Need
Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship + NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Industrial/commercial maintenance experience
Knowledge of pressure systems, motors, pumps, and electrical equipment
Strong communication and health & safety awareness
IT literate (Outlook & Microsoft Office)
Full UK driving licence
Flexible, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
Forklift licence and knowledge of Systec/AES machines (desirable but not essential)
