We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial vehicle workshop based in Leicester. Duties of a HGV Technician:
* Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
* Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
* Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards as a HGV Technician
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
* Keep accurate work records and comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
* Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to quality work
* Full UK driving licence required
* HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
