Overview
A modern and growing business is on the lookout for a new Credit Controller to join its finance team. This role won't solely be comprised of credit control to keep the role varied and interesting. This company prides itself on teamwork, collaboration, and maintaining the highest standard of financial accuracy across all its entities.
You'll work closely with the Financial Controller, Senior Accountant and wider team to ensure accounting records are accurate, clean and complete.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and opportunities to support month-end during busier periods.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
Duties
* Proactively engage customers to resolve queries and secure timely payments
* Produce timely credit control reports for internal stakeholders
* Maintain clean accounts receivable and payable positions across all entities
* Ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Work with the Financial Controller, Senior Accountant and wider team to ensure accurate accounting records
* Maintain clean accounts payable and receivable positions across multiple subsidiaries
* Ensure customer monies are collected efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed
* Ensure all vendor payments are made promptly
* Proactively complete bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and resolve queries quickly
* Process supplier invoices, customer invoices and cash allocations within Netsuite
* Review day-to-day transactional inputs to ensure completeness and accuracy
* Support month-end processes and provide additional cover when needed across the finance team
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will bring strong prior credit control experience and be confident working within a busy transactional finance environment. You must be able to commute to our Lewes office.
