We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.\n\nWe are currently recruiting a Modern Apprentice in Business Administration to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in a professional office environment while working towards a recognised Business Administration qualification.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nDuties will include, but are not limited to:\n\n· Reception duties\n· Switchboard cover and backup\n· Processing incoming mail (scanning and distribution)\n· Managing outgoing mail\n· Filing and general document control\n· Scanning for all departments\n· Maintaining drawing registers for contracts and logging drawings on Document management system\n· Administration of contract email inboxes\n· General typing and spreadsheet logging\n· Compiling building manuals, including liaising with subcontractors to obtain required information\n· Coordinating site signage and laminating\n· Managing stationery supplies\n· Providing administrative support across all departments\n· Preparing meeting rooms, including refreshments for internal and external meetings, and setting up for breakfast/lunch meetings\n\nThis is a full-time, permanent position based at our Paisley Head Office. You will learn how to work in a busy office environment, how to use our bespoke IT Systems and databases. You will learn how to work both in a team and individually, manage your work load and support the team. The successful candidate will demonstrate:\n·5 National 5s including English required for this role\n· A willingness to learn and develop new skills\n· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)\n· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal\n· Good organisational skills and attention to detail\n· A positive attitude and proactive approach to work\n· The ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks\n· A flexible approach and willingness to support different departments as required\n· A commitment to completing a Business Administration qualification
