*

Collect, analyse, and interpret condition monitoring data including vibration, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis (as applicable).

*

Diagnose equipment faults, identify failure modes, and provide actionable recommendations to improve asset health.

*

Produce detailed technical reports and communicate findings to clients in a clear and professional manner.

*

Support root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement projects.

*

Work closely with clients to develop and deliver condition monitoring programmes tailored to their operational needs.

Assist in building digital asset health records to feed into PSW’s wider Reliability and Integrity solutions.

*

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all work activities.

*

Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the PSW Integrity team.

Essential:

*

Minimum Vibration Analysis Category II (CAT II) or VA2 certification.

*

Strong experience in condition monitoring and vibration analysis on rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, turbines, etc.).

*

Proven ability to diagnose common fault conditions such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, and resonance issues.

*

Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations.

*

Strong health, safety, and quality awareness.

*

Willingness to travel to client sites (UK and occasional international).

Desirable:

*

Exposure to complementary CBM techniques (thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis).

*

Experience working in manufacturing, polymer, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries.

*

Knowledge of Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), FMEA, or broader reliability engineering practices.

*

Familiarity with digital condition monitoring platforms and remote monitoring tools.

What We Offer

*

Competitive salary and benefits package.

*

Opportunity to work on high-profile projects across multiple industries.

*

Professional development, further CBM/ISO certification training, and career progression within a growing consultancy.
