We are thrilled to be expanding our Futures provision and are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Futures Coach to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference supporting young people as they take their next big steps from school and education into confident, independent adulthood.
In this role, you will help each learner shape a future that’s meaningful to them, with a focus on four key areas from preparing for employment, developing independent living skills, building strong community connections, and promoting health and wellbeing.
A day in the life of a Futures Coach would include:
*
Empowering learners as they navigate the life-changing transition from education into adulthood, offering consistent guidance, encouragement, and practical support every step of the way
*
Inspiring the development of strong communication and social interaction skills, while modelling and reinforcing confident, appropriate behaviour in a range of public settings
*
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date individual learner records to ensure progress is clearly tracked and well supported
*
Thoughtfully planning safe, engaging activities and opportunities that prepare learners for real-world experiences
*
Completing all required evaluations, reports, and documentation to a high standard, ensuring compliance and quality assurance
*
Championing independence at every opportunity whether preparing for interviews, using public transport, or engaging within the wider community
*
Developing strong partnerships with adult social services and external professionals to ensure a smooth, well-supported transition from education into adult life
