About the Opportunity
Join a leading universal banks Payments division as a Business Analyst, where youll play a pivotal role in delivering technology solutions that power a significant proportion of the UK high streets payment transactions. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, supporting innovative payment solutions in a dynamic B2B2C environment.
What Youll Be Doing
* Lead analysis on projects or workstreams, gathering requirements and supporting design to translate business needs into effective technology solutions
* Work within project teams to deliver an agreed roadmap, estimating timescales and ensuring alignment with overall delivery goals
* Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including users, clients, management and developers to understand needs and communicate project details clearly
* Provide sound judgment and recommendations on business matters, assessing situations and advising on courses of action
* Follow all governance processes to secure appropriate sign-offs while aligning to wider organisational strategy
Essential:
* Ability to analyse data from various systems and stakeholders, present findings and provide actionable recommendations
* Including negotiation and influencing abilities
* Good understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall approaches, plus lifecycle management
* Knowledge of data transfer, APIs and cloud-based applications
* Proven track record delivering technology projects
Highly Desirable:
* Experience with API integrations
* Salesforce knowledge
* SQL understanding
* Interest in payment technologies
