Role Description
This is a part-time, on/off-site role located in Glossop for a Company Accountant. The Company Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing budgets, and generating financial reports. The role also involves payroll processing, tax compliance, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The Company Accountant will collaborate with various teams to optimize financial planning and support the company’s operational goals.
Qualifications
* Strong competency in financial management, including budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
* Familiarity with tax compliance, payroll processing, and regulatory standards
* Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for decision-making
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective teamwork and reporting
* Previous experience in a similar role or in the packaging/manufacturing industry is a plus
