THE EMPLOYER IS: THE RAINBOW PROJECT The Rainbow Project, as a leading charity working for LGBTQIA plus people across Northern Ireland, has a centre in Derry/Londonderry where we provide various services including Health & Wellbeing, Peer Social Groups, Rainbow Youth & Training services. The Foyle Services Assistant will support the Foyle staff team in executing administrative and organisational tasks, supporting centre coverage and assist in delivery of services.
Responsibilities
* Answering phone calls from service-users and professionals.
* Corresponding with service-users and managing appointment bookings.
* Supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre.
* Assisting in delivery of Health & Wellbeing services.
* Supporting facilitation of peer social groups.
* Supporting facilitation and administration of training services.
* Accurately input feedback and evaluations of services into digital systems.
* Attend and represent The Rainbow Project at events as directed.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
* Ability to hold confidential information with respect and discretion in accordance with GDPR.
Desirable Skills
* Strong MS Office skills.
* An understanding of emotional health & wellbeing.
* An understanding of LGBTQIA plus rights and community issues.

The Employer is: THE RAINBOW PROJECT JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
