About the Role
As the Team Leader for Development Management Site Inspections, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the construction phase of highways associated with new developments in both West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire.
Location & Working Conditions
* Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available
* Travel: Required to office and developer sites, with some remote working options
Compensation
Salary: £58,000 - £62,000 per year
* £5.9k annual car allowance
* Private healthcare

Your Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you will:
* Lead and mentor a team of site inspectors, enhancing their skills and ensuring high performance.
* Monitor developer works for compliance with approved documentation and specifications.
* Ensure operational and public safety within the highway, including traffic management compliance.
* Liaise with developers, designers, contractors, and local highway authority teams to identify and agree on necessary design changes.
* Ensure health and safety compliance on all projects.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, or possess relevant experience.
* Have significant experience supervising highway works on site, including knowledge of Section 38 and 278 processes.
* Understand the Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Can accurately and consistently follow technical, legal, and administrative procedures.
