Job Title: Strategic Portfolio Manager Division: Corporate Location: Glasgow Hybrid Purpose of Role: Weir initiated the Performance Excellence (PEx) program in 2023. This is a multi-year transformation program which will deliver operational excellence across manufacturing and supply chain whilst migrating functional services to a global business services model. A key underpinning for the PEx program is delivering our Target Enterprise Architecture (TEA) roadmap, which aligns our Internet Services & Technology (IS&T) systems and processes with the strategic capabilities needed by Weir over the next 5 - 7 years. This includes simplifying our complex IS&T landscape and migrating onto a converged ERP eco-system based on SAP S\4. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that the Corporate IS&T strategic portfolio aligns with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Manage the Corporate IS&T strategic portfolio backlog, supporting the bridge between the new product-based agile delivery and the more traditional project-based delivery. Lead implementation of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at the portfolio level Monitor and report on portfolio performance Working with the WBS PMO team to develop and maintain the IS&T portfolio management framework, including governance, prioritisation, and management of IS&T projects and programs. Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and sponsors. Oversee and 'quality assure' the production of management documents, including project charters and business case materials Manage and communicate overall portfolio financials. Optimise resource allocation based on resource availability and prioritized projects. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate and elaborate with individuals at different levels Proven track record in IT portfolio management, strategic planning, and project management. Direct experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including implementing and managing SAFe at the portfolio level, ideally SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager 6 certified. Extensive experience in general portfolio and project management ideally with relevant certifications.
