The Medication Support Assistant reports to the Registered Branch Manager and is responsible for assisting the branch in reaching their quality compliance standards for both employee and service users, supporting with Level C medication weekly audits and completing Birdie Audits as required and directed by the Registered Branch Manager. The Compliance Auditor will support and offer guidance around medication errors and support via medication competency assessments.
The post holder will be required to work within the Dumfries branch covering Dumfries and Galloway services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Working with the Registered Manager to support the branch in meeting the Companys and Dumfries and Galloways quality requirements in relation to level C medication.
2. Undertaking internal audits to ensure service users are supported with their medication by staff who are well trained and understand the contractual compliance requirements.
3. Completing report(s) based on the results of the medication and staff competency audits.
